gurk4n.com is a small, independently run corner of the web maintained by a software engineer as a side project. The tools collected here started as things built for my own work — decoding SMPP PDUs while debugging an SMS gateway, checking a JWT without pasting it into a random website, converting GPS coordinates for a mapping project — and were cleaned up enough to be useful to other people too.
There is no account system, no server-side processing of the data you paste into these tools, and no tracking beyond what is needed to serve occasional, consent-gated advertising that helps cover hosting costs. If you would rather not see ads, that is fine — every tool works exactly the same either way.
